Who doesn't like a little UFC fight?

Okay my son and my husband got me watching the UFC fights. Now, I have a sweet friend who hates these fights, but I am the girl who loves them. Here are these men and women in this ring or cage fighting it out. The amazing thing is all the kicks, punches, and the hooks that seem to knock them out. They are in a battle. They are fighting with all their might and they are not giving up so easily. When they get knocked down, they get right back up.When that left hook almost takes them out, they come in with another breath of life, filled with more energy. They can take all these punches, and jabs coming at them, and they never back down. They never leave that ring, saying,"No,I am finished,I just can't go on." They have trained day in and day out for the battles they face. They have not only the strength, but the endurance to last long in the fight. They know what is coming, and they are taught how to react to each move. They each have their specialties, and each are unique. They know about the person they are about to fight. They study them and their moves,so they can learn more and be ready. When they get someone in a hold, that person just doesn't lay there and give up. They are struggling, and fighting for that top position. They learn just how to move, and they are aware of what is going on around them. Each punch coming at them, they know a counter move to bring on. We can apply this to our daily lives. We are fighting a battle daily around us. We must know who we are battling, and how to battle them. We must study and prepare for what is to come. If we are going to walk this christian road,we must turn to Christ and allow Him to teach us and mold us, so we are ready for battle. We have to know what is around us, either moving away from it,or ready to face it,we must have our eye on the Lord at all times. He gives us the wisdom and the strength to fight these daily battles. Just as the fighters must put on their helmets, and mouth guards,so must we. We must put on the helmet of salvation, and keep our mouths in check.Knowing when to speak with the correct words, and when to not speak and walk away with prayer. If we are going to win these battles for Christ daily we have to allow Him to move through us.We already know who won the war,but we must still continue the fight until the end. We should never give up on anything or anyone. If we cannot fight these battles face to face, then we must fight them in prayer. When you get in that ring today, put on your armor, stand with your feet firm in the word, and keep your eyes upon the Lord, never turning away,be ready for what is to come. If you get knocked down, you get right back up and try again. In this world we must keep our gloves up, our gear on, and have our game face ready. Tomorrow is another battle, and its a battle we can win with the right gear, and the right attitude. When we have Christ with us, we have no reason to fear any battle that may come our way. So stay in that ring, and keep fighting.."Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therfore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God,praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance adn supplication for all the saints-and for me that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak." Ephesians 6:11-20
