Are you weak and wounded?

Has life gotten you down? Have you lost your job? Have you lost a friend? Are you scared of a test? So many things can scare us right out of our shoes, right into bed with the covers pulled over our heads. Do you feel like giving up? Have you been told over and over again your just not right for the position? Have you been afraid at night to close your eyes because your afraid you won't wake up? Maybe on the flip side of that you just want to close your eyes and never wake again? Sometimes hard times seem to fall on everyone around us. You hear others say,"If its not one thing, its another." People are tired, they are weak, and they are struggling to get by,not just day by day,but in many cases hour by hour.So what are we to do with all this stuff? Who can we call? Who can we escape to?Where can we go to for help? We can run straight to Lord Jesus,King of Kings,Lord of Lords. This week after my husband had been layed off for many, many months, the Lord sent a job.Not just a job,but a great one, working for a great boss, with great benefits, and pay.Its a job my husband will enjoy, and that makes everything else seem little, compared to having a job that he enjoys. I had a close friend this week go in for tests, and I know she was frightened, but the Lord gave her peace and gave her good results. That is something to praise the Lord for. This week I had a friend find out some news that is not so grand, but in it all,she knows Jesus is with her,He will lift her up and bring her through this trial.A few years back,we had a little guy at our church that was drastically hurt,we didn't know if he was going to make it.I watched his parents fall apart, not knowing, but trusting in the Lord. That little guy is 100% wonderful today. For God gave a miracle to him.To see him play today, you would never know he had gone through such a tragedy. We have had women at church battle cancer, some longer than others, but all going though such changes, hurts, and times of unknown. Today these three heros are cancer free.God brought them through, and is still walking with them, and leading them. They all have grown closer to the Lord through their trials, and just have a sweeter walk. Every circumstance doesn't turn out like we think it should, but it turns out like God thinks it should. Whatever trial you are going through,God will see you through. He will walk with you,or carry you along the way. A while back our pastor was in a horrible car accident. He was terribly hurt, and in the hospital for several weeks, and went through re-hab. He is on his road back, and is doing awesome. He can walk now,and one day, maybe he will even run. But through his trial God was with him,He never left, not once. God meets us right where we are.He knows our needs,He knows our hearts, and He knows what it best. God brings miracles and glory through each person, and each day He shows Himself to those who call out to Him.One of my favorite verses is Romans 5:3-5"And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." We can rejoice and have joy in our hearts knowing we have hope in Jesus Christ. When we put our faith and trust in Jesus, the Holy Spirit is poured out upon us. God will see us through all situations. We are never alone.Jesus is always with us,even when things do not turn out the way we think they should. God's will is important for us to understand. His will is the best way.Blessings come out of hurts, trust comes out of trials, and love comes out of forgiveness. If you are weak and wounded today call out to your Savior. Stretch your arms out to Him,lay your burdens down at His feet and may He lift you up. He will dry our tears, and soften our hearts. He will allow us to go through trials to grow closer to Him,for us to make some changes in our lives and learn to trust in all He does.......
