Psalm 112 says this,"Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,Who delights greatly in His commandments.His descendants will be mighty on earth;The generation of the upright will be blessed.Wealth and riches will be in his house,And his righteousness endures forever.Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion,and righteous.A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with descretion.Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance;He will not be afraid of eveil tidings;His heart is steadfast,trusting in the Lord.His heart is established;He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.He has dispersed abroad,He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor.The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked shall perish." Wow,what an amazing verse to hang on to when you have to sit down to get news your not wanting to hear.When troubles come our way we have nothing to fear.We have nothing to lose.We win either way because we know how the story ends. God is with us everywhere,and in all times.Nothing touches us without going through Him first,and even then He gives us all the grace and strength we need to survive the storm. He can calm the winds and rain,or He can choose to calm us through the storm,again either way,we win.We have the Lord Almighty on our side,who is bigger than any wind,rain,hail,or any storm that comes our way.Don't fear the unknown.God already knows the whole story,there's nothing unknown to Him.He loves us and will lead us through those foggy roads that we are unable to see through.He will calm the thunder and lightning that seem to frighten us so.We have God's security,and His grace,when He is with us,we have nothing to fear of the unknown...(For my sweet sister Sue.)
