Romans 8:18-19 states this; "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed." We so suffer here at times,we have much pain and hurt all around us. If we are not suffering, someone we know is,and we have either suffered or we will suffer in this world. We must remember that our sufferings do not compare to what awaits us in heaven. We also have to keep in mind that in our sufferings time seems to stand still,or even feel like forever, but it is just for a moment considering God's time. Our time here on earth is small, short, and precious. Each moment is important, and each moment means something special. I remember when I was little I would say to my mom,"I cannot wait until I can drive.I cannot wait until I am older and can do more things." I have taught my children to value each moment and step in their lives. To imagine heaven for me is everyday. Everyday I look for Him to come, for His kingdom to reign. Whatever hurt or pain we are going through is but a moment,Jesus is with us every step of the way.A moment here on earth is nothing to a moment in heaven. When we are in those sufferings, let us not focus on the pain of that moment, but focus on what is to come. For all the beauty that is in this world, can we really imagine heaven and the beauty that awaits us? It will be glorious, and to spend a moment with Christ is worth a moment of suffering here for me.
