Super cute and so fun! A new release by Rory Feek. You know him from Joey and Rory the country music couple. (click on the highlighted area and you can be directed to his website).
I have grands that are going to love this book! I love the soft padded feel of this board book. Rhyming. Who doesn't love it! A story of farm animals all intrigued with one another. The cow sees the horse and is inspired by his freedom to run, the horse sees a duck who swims all day, the duck is admiring the sheep's nice warm wool, the sheep is keen on the pig who digs all day, the pig is soon ruffing like the dog, the dog thinks it would be fun to be the cat who is chasing a mouse, the cat is partial to the farmer. The farmer hears the cat say, "Hello", and has to see the animals in the barn for himself. It's there he sees the unexpected and simply smiles at all before him.
The illustrations are beautifully done. Inviting and warm. A silly story that will bring a smile. I cannot wait to read this with my grands. Just in time for the coming holidays it would make a great gift for the little ones in your life.
There is lots here for the imagination. There's nothing here about faith. If you are searching for a children's book that holds Jesus as the center, this isn't that book. But in reading this fun and silly book it would be easy to talk about God, the animals He created and all the fun we can be thankful for because of His created treasures.
Enjoy! I think this is a great keeper.
