How do you Say Good Night? by Tommy Nelson and illustrated by Catalina Echeverri

What an adorably cute book. I love the illustrations. Just perfect for young imaginations. Not only is it wonderful for bedtime, but anytime will do. Just snuggling up with this curious little zebra will be fun to explore.

Zoey is about to ready for bed and she is curious about how the other animals ready for bed. She asks the lions, warthogs, elephants, ostriches, monkeys, and the hippos, ending her adventure with telling her whole family good night.

"How do others say good night before they're tucked in tight? Do they stop to pray before they hit the hay? Do they brush their teeth before they go to sleep? What's the very best way to end each wonderful day?"

"Then Zoey asked a sounder of warthogs, "How do you say good night?" "We find a puddle and lie down to cuddle. We wiggle our snouts. We squeal and we shout. And we thank God above for His sweet, gentle love. Then we grunt and snort, 'Good Night!'"

I love how the Creator is the focus of this splendid gem. Each animal Zoey encounters shares how they say, 'Good Night', and all give praise to God. A great way for little ones to explore animals, to understand that we are all different, but most of all that there is one God, and we are to worship Him in our day and be thankful for all.

"Zoey walked up to a flock of ostriches and asked, "How do you say good night?" "We all get together and preen our long feathers. We eat something sweet-a big bedtime treat-And then we tell stories of God's wonderful glory. Then we squawk, 'Good Night!'"

Just in time for Christmas. It would make a great gift for your little ones. I think any age could enjoy this children's book. The writing is rhythmic, and the illustrations are cute and inviting. A great one to build imaginations and teach little ones to thank God for His care.

I have a few grands that are going to love this book!!
