What can I say. I LOVED this book! I think I want to read it over again. It was just that good. Maybe it has something to do with the authors? You betcha! Four of the greatest writers come together to write about four friends living in a town called, Smitten.
There is more than love on the horizon. Change is coming not just to the town, but to those living there. I fell in love with the characters. They are rich and vibrant. This story holds so many life lessons. A few that I can walk away with are, not to be afraid of change. Allow yourself room to trust the Lord. Our vision is limited when the only person we are seeing is ME, but, when we turn our eyes to Jesus we begin to see with a new vision. Then the whole world is full of possibilities.
I tell you, I think I loved the foreword and the sharing of each author just as much as the story itself. The book is really told in four parts. Each one written beautifully. Each one written by one of the four authors. You gotta love that!
If your looking for a great read to curl up with this season, this is a great book to keep you company.
This book was a gift from Thomas Nelson for it's review.
