I am that girl who loves devotionals. I think they are beginning to fill up my night stand. The latest one that has joined my collection is, Love is a Verb. I LOVE this devotional. Some can be repetitive and just not capture the spirit of the Lord. This one does that and more. Each day the devotion is written by a different writer. That alone gives you a new perspective each and every day. This is one of those devotionals that gets you excited. So far in reading, each day the devotional has helped me through the day. That is a God thing for sure! If you read and enjoyed, The Five Love Languages, you will love this devotional.
This would make an amazing Christmas gift. It's almost that time of year. But it would be a great gift for any time of year for that special person in your life. What a great book to just spend time in and sharing what you learn with a friend over a morning coffee. There are great lessons to take away from this devotional. I love how these writers have taken God's Word and brought it to us in a way that shows us all life can be if we just surrender each day to Him and give Him our total focus and trust.
This book was a gift from Bethany House for it's review.
