BEGIN AGAIN, BELIEVE AGAIN by Sharon A. Hersh

Relationships are hard, down right painful at times. We can become lonely and lost in this world wondering where we fit in and what's wrong with us. Before we have blessed relationships with others we first must make our relationship with Christ what it should be. Sharon introduces us to looking deep within ourselves and asking thought provoking questions. In order for other relationships to grow we first must grow in Christ. It is through Him that we find ourselves and who we are. We cannot look to others to fill our needs. We can only find all we need and all we are in Christ Jesus alone. I loved this book. I stayed up late and read it in one sitting. It is one you cannot put down. It is also one you will read over and over again gaining something new each time. Don't you love how the Lord does that? He gives us just what we need when we need it. Sharon takes us through all kinds of relationships. There are three different parts, daily relationships, difficult relationships and redeeming relationships. Each chapter comes with thought provoking questions to ponder over. I loved the questions and how deep they took me.We can endure life's hardships. It is all in our attitudes and where our focus is. This book is a tool to use with your bible to grow stronger in your faith. This would be a great book to share in a study. The amazing thing is we were designed for relationships. Sharon shares with us how to repair relationships. Sharon shares stories of her own life, which I really enjoyed. I love it when others share their struggles along with their blessings. This book is filled with stories of brokenness and redemption. Hope and faith. Struggles and blessings. Begin Again, Believe Again (Embracing the Courage to Love with Abandon) is such a powerful book that teaches us to love with all we have. Not to fear failure and to find success we must begin with the Lord. We can begin to believe again with Christ leading the way.

This book was a gift from Zondervan for it's review.
