MOM'S BIBLE (God's Wisdom For Mothers)
I have to say I wasn't sure what to expect when I received this bible, but I can tell you I love it. It is the New Century Version and is clear to understand. This is from Ephesians 6:1-4 "Children, obey your parents as the Lord wants, because this is the right thing to do. The command says, Honor your father and mother. This is the first command that has a promise with it-Then everything will be well with you, and you will have a long life on earth." You can use this bible for a devotional too. There are many insightful places in each chapter for us to grow in, such as, "Passing it on, Mom's of the bible, Insights, and Walking". In Walking it can be, Walking in Mercy, Walking in His strength, Walking in discernment and many more. You will also find "Godly Character". These are all amazing areas that give us scripture and explanation of those verses so we can learn and grow. Each book also begins with an explanation of what it is all about. This bible is very easy to follow and would be great for a gift for Mother's Day, or a birthday gift, or just for a special mom you know. In the back of the bible is a section titled, "Answers to questions kids ask". Such as, "Why did God rest on the seventh day, and What does it mean to misuse God's name"? I know I am going to love diving into this bible. This bible was a gift from Thomas Nelson for its review.
