INTERVENTION by Terri Blackstock

I have to say Wow! Terri Blackstock captures me everytime I pick up one of her books. In Intervention we meet a family who is struggling against addiction. What mother wouldn't give her own life to save her child? Barbara Covington is a widowed mother of two, Emily, who is facing addiction, and her son Lance are living a life of the unknown. As Barbara begins an intervention with Trish coming to take Emily to get the help she so desperately needs, but while at the airport something goes terribly wrong. Trish is now dead and no one knows where Emily is, has something happened to her? As Barbara gets the call about the murder, she and her son will fly out and meet Kent Harlan, the detective on the case. This book will take you on a journey of a mother's love for her daughter, the lengths she will go to find her, and a brother who is not going to stop until his sister is found. Kent is a character who gives all for those he is asigned to, for his brother too was an addict and knows the pain. I loved this book, and at the end Terri shares her own personal story which just grabs your heart. This suspense, thriller will keep you reading, waiting for Emily too be found and this family to come together again praising Jesus for all He has done. It is faith that keeps Barbara going and faith that Emily returns to~
