We try so hard to find our way in this life.Some search a lifetime trying to find their way.Some search by following other people.Some search places where nothing is to be found but heartache and trouble.We search to and fro on this earth looking for something so satisfy,for something to show us the way.Could it really be all that simple as what the Lord tells us in John 14:6"I am the way,the truth,and the life.No one comes to the Father except through Me."? Yes,it really is that simple.Here Jesus is telling us plainly that He is the way.There isn't another way,another road that will lead us to Him.There isn't another choice here.He is the only way.He tells us He is the truth.I believe this is the truth that shall set you free.John 8:36 "Therefore if the Son makes you free,you shall be free indeed."He takes us out of bondage from our pasts,from our sins,and from ourselves.Have you ever caught a beautiful butterfly,and tried to keep it in a jar?It will not live there in the jar,it has to be free from that jar to be able to spread its wings and fly.We too,must be set free from our bondage to be able to really see,spreading our wings in Jesus to be able to fly.We don't just want to fly,we were made to soar for Jesus.If we read in John 16:13"However,when He,the Spirit of truth,has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority,but whatever He hears,He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."So we can learn here that the Holy Spirit will speak to us,the Holy Spirit will show us truth,and show us the way we should go.The Holy Spirit is set in our hearts to lead and guide us in the way of the Lord.We have all we need right here in Jesus. He is our compass,He is our guide for this tour.He is here to tell us about the journey,the bumpy roads,the curves,and those blasted valleys. He will lead us to a road of peace,joy,and understanding.In Jeremiah 29:11"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,says the Lord,thoughts of peace and not of evil,to give you a future and a hope."He knows the plans He has for us,and He and He alone will show us the way.We will never be able to find it on our own.We can search from land to sea,we will never find our way without our Savior.If your still searching,search no more,for Jesus is right there at your door knocking and He is waiting for you to answer.Maybe you have answered already and you have lost your way,pick up your compass,the bible,place it open in your hands and He will guide you back into His fold.....
