Oh, to be inspired by a book thrills my heart! A Maverick for sure. Levee O'Reilly is one of those girls you absolutely love and admire. Her character is so strong, yet you see a vulnerable side to her. She has been through much, but the Lord has brought her through. She might be petite, but she carries a huge joy that steals your heart from the first pages and keeps them turning. I was cheering her on all throughout the book. Levee has seen loss in her life and felt the pain of being alone, but you would never see that by the way she lives. She takes one moment at a time and is determined to live fully.
She finds herself in Eagle Pass, Texas as a teacher after tragedy strikes once more in her life. Before long she meets the Neville family and finds her heart pounding when sees Daniel Neville. Once you meet his character you wish you were Miss O'Reilly, yourself!
Dan has seen the hard days of life and is finding his way back. The Neville family is one of strong faith and leadership. This story is filled with love, but even more so, learning to live again. When you pick up this book you are off for an adventure and one you will not soon forget.
Thank you, Loree Lough, for the gift of this beautiful book for review. It was an honor my friend.
Loree writes in such a beautiful way you can relate to each character as they come alive in the pages you hold. You can't read fast enough and then she leaves you wanting more. In fact, book three of this series, Unbridled Love, will be coming out soon. The first in the Lone Star Legends Series, is Beautiful Bandit, another you don't want to miss.
