we can find safety in Him

This world gives us untrust but in Jesus we find trust. This world gives us unrest, but in Him we can find it. This world gives hurt and confusion. In Jesus we find healing, and understanding. In this world we see anger, but God gives us calm.

We can find ourselves hurt by others, crushed by depression, and disillusioned by those who are near. Satan makes his way to us in many forms. He hides around the corners, and those places we don't think to look. He knows where we visit, and that is where we will collide. Make no mistake, he is there, lurking in wait. But we have a mighty God who is bigger and sees his tracks ahead of ours. Praise Jesus, for He is there to guide us, to protect us, and warn us those evils. May we rise above all this world tries to show us by being on our knees. It is on our knees that we find Jesus, and gain the strength to stand.

When we have our eyes focused on Him, Satan knows he cannot win. There will be attacks, and trials to come, but we can find ourselves safe and secure in Him.

Ever receive one of those packages that says, "Open with care"? We have those little packages all around us that look enticing, they look inviting, but once opened, they destroy. They become like ticking time bombs waiting to go off. You can find yourself unwrapping that little gift with a smile, only to turn to a frown. Its almost like letting the cat out of the bag. Once he is out, he is ready to attack and we find ourselves heading for cover.

If you hear that voice that's telling you to open with care, do so, with the Lord right there. Never go anywhere where He is not. We must be on guard of all around us. When we trust in the Lord, He is there to lead and guide us. When we listen to His voice, He will never lead us astray, its when we listen to the voices of others that we find ourselves heeding decay.

Whatever is attacking you today, you can find shelter and peace in Jesus. He can be your Guiding Light, your Forever North, and your Refuge. Reach out to Him, for His arms are reaching out to you.

Deception can creep into our lives little by little, and before we know it we are blinded. If we keep our eyes on Jesus, He not only removes the deception, takes off the blinders, but He fills us with His Spirit and wisdom, and places a hedge of protection around us. Now that's a refuge I want surrounding me!

Put on the armor the Lord gives us each day and within that armor He will provide all we need for each day. We can not only move through, but we can overcome with grace. As this world attacks, we don't have to attack back, we can walk with grace and dignity, with Jesus along side us. This world has nothing on Jesus, but Jesus has everything on this world. This side of the world can be difficult at times, even down right destructive, but there is a sweet place waiting for those who believe. But while we are here, we find strength and courage in Him. We can find truth and righteousness in His word. As long as His Spirit is with us, we have no worries. We can face anything, and conquer all through Him who gives us strength!

Romans 8:35-39 "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
