Stand out of the crowd
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Romans 12:1-2 As christians we should stand out. When we are in a crowd,in the market,at the park,we should stand out having others see something different about us. They should be able to see Christ in us. This world is full of temptation,wants,and desires of all kinds. But as followers of Christ we need to leave all those things and follow Him.We need to fix our minds upon Him. Remembering that our bodies are the Holy Temple of Christ. All that touches our bodies,comes out of our mouths, and every action we make should all be Christ centered. Satan knows how to tempt us, He knows what our desires are,and sets those things before us.Each day we have a choice to walk closer to Christ or walk closer to this world. The world is deceiving, and can pull us away from Christ and our walk if we are not keeping our eyes upon Him. We should be using our bodies to serve and obey God, not serving ourselves and our desires. We should be ready for the Lord to use us for His glory, being an open vessel for Him. When bankers learn what is counterfeit,they do not study the counterfeit,but study the real dollar,learning it and knowing it inch by inch. If we too, keep our eyes focused on the real,we will know when evil is approaching. People can tell if we are christians by our talk, and by our walk. Standing out for Jesus may not be easy,but it is showing our love for Jesus.It is showing our faith in Him, and showing others who Jesus is just by our daily actions. Whether we are on the phone with someone, on the net chating,or in the local town we should be examples of who Christ is,so others can come to Him,and stand out in the crowd with us.
